To Photoshop or To Not Photoshop

Dear Readers,
I have been debating back and forth rather I should take up Photoshop or not. I have always felt that it is not my place to change the way your eyes look, or your weight, or the wrinkles on your face, but lately, some clients have been wanting me to "fix them".  Well, I am not a plastic surgeon, and I don't plan on getting my degree anytime soon.
      What Photoshop does to you is gives you unrealistic expectations about your body appearance. You look at your profile picture and see that flawless beauty, then you look at the mirror and feel like crap compared to the picture. IT IS ALL FAKE! I do understand certain things to cut out, like an ugly zit you had that day, or a stupid stray hair. I get that stuff, but I will not air brush your wrinkles, brighten your eyes, or give you higher cheekbones. {So, if you wish for me to take your photo, I will absolutely not Photoshop. You can do that yourself with one of the many apps you can download, if you feel so inclined}
     Thanks for listening to my ranting! So anyways, here are some good old fashion photos of Amber,                                                               {No Photoshop Needed}

More to Come Next Week!
Thanks for joining me and my Rant of the Day!
Have a good day Guys!

Strike a Pose.

Dear you,
How've ya been? Long time no talk.
Today I thought I would give Miss Rose Photo's a Blog Makeover with signature pink.
Comment Below If  You Like!
Anywho, (That is Now a Word) I thought I'd share one of my deepest darkest
Scariest Secrets Ever.
{I tell my models to go pose by parked cars that are not mine.}
I don't know why, but is is like a rush of excitement.
Here is Amber Posing by this Camaro that was parked in front of my house.
Lookin' all fancy.

Here is another one.
This is Morgan, by this VW Bug that was parked.
It is an awful habit really,
But the pictures come out so COOL!

Anyways, I hope that my secret didn't offend anyone.
But if you leave a nice car parked somewhere, I just might make a Model pose by it.
You all are warned.
Well, Hopefully I will be Posting more often, {Every Monday} Maybe?
That's all for now thou,
Yours Truly,
Miss Rose

Fam Pics

Dear People,
So my family and I went on this incredible walk at Letitia Winery off of the Freeway on your way to Nipomo. We dressed up all fancy like and I brought my camera with the tripod of course! We had a blast! We packed a picnic, sat down, and soaked in the amazing scenery! The Oak trees made for amazing shade and a photo op! Take a look!

This is our amazing family photo!!
(& Yes Joey is a Bit Sassy, He gets it From Me)

Momma & JoJo Bean

 The Sibs.

Oh also, it was my Sister and Brother's-In-law anniversary,
so we did a few couples shots.
Happy Anniversary!!

I honestly think my sister had a good time.

After the shoot I went to Walmart to print some of the edits, (& Yes, I get my prints at Walmart) and the lady who printed the 8x10s complimented the photographs. I felt so special, it was a highlight of my day! Thank you random Walmart employee!
Anyways....
You have no idea how hard it is to take family photos.
One person looks AMAZING, but the other persons eyes are closed!!!
It is very tedious work. We took about 400 picture or more to get a handful of goodies!
I'd say it was worth it!

A Day with Amber!

Dear Shadows,
This is Amber, one of my best friends. We have so much fun together, just acting weird and stuff, it amazing how many people stare... Anyways, We had such an awesome day together and to wrap it up and put the big bow on it, we did a photo shoot! People like this make me wonder how they are so photogenic! She's a Natural!!!! Take a look...

For these two shots below, I did two edits, like always. My problem is I love them both equally!
Which do you prefer?
Black and White vs. Color

And here we are, being dorks... Like normal...

For this shot below, I am in love with the lighting! Its Just Amazing in Every Way!!
For most of these shots, I had the settings on No Flash..

Perfection!

Thank you so much, Amber, for letting me attack you with my camera!
Sometimes you don't realize your making memories,
you just know your having fun!
Stick around for something special coming your way, May 4th, 2016!!!!
See You Guys Soon!

Pismo Shoot

Dear People,
I am the type of person who is always looking for a reason to take pictures of a person. For example, my latest reason was the sun. It was a Gorgeous evening in Pismo Beach, so we hopped in the car and here is where we ended up. Joey was my "model" for this shoot.

So here we are, the sun bein' all, sunny and stuff & Jo-Jo lookin' all adorable! Most of these photographs are taken on the landscape setting. Landscape is literally the bomb! What it does is it brings more depth to the photos. One really awesome tip if your really bad at making the photos horizon level is to follow the little boxes in the little hole you look through... You have no idea how hard it is to explain! Just take a look at the photo below.

This is what I see through my lens. See those little boxes with the dots in the middle? If you want a perfectly straight horizon, you could line up the bottom or top of the boxes to the horizon. I have done this SO MANY TIMES!!! It is an awesome thing to keep in mind and then later, its less for you to edit!
So moving one...

Another perfect example of a level horizon!

This was taken with my amazing ZOOM Lens!! To learn more about the ZOOM LENS, click on the link~ ZOOM LENS

More Jo-Jo Bean! This is at the Monarch Butterfly Park. Such an amazing time when those Monarchs come around.

Finally got a shot of a silhouette! I love it SO Much!!

And last but not least... this tree. It was amazing! From this angle it looks like it belongs in a forest!
Well Guys, that's its for today! Be Sure to check out My ZOOM LENS entry.

My ZOOM LENS!

Dear Reader,
So I'm Guessing you've heard about my zoom lens. It's my baby. I hardly use it, but when I do, I feel like Veronica Mars! It is absolutely my favorite lens. Here's a quick shot of the famous Zoom lens!
To be specific, it is a 55-250mm canon zoom. It is the heaviest thing in the world, especially on a photo shoot! Your neck gets super tense and all knotted up. So just a heads up! But don't worry, your neck will get used to it, eventually.

This was taken with the zoom in my front yard. If your a crazy bird lover/watcher, this is the lens for you! This little guy here is so pretty!! I was probably ten feet away from him at the least and I still got the shot!
Above is a photograph of me with the farthest you can zoom out {55mm} with this lens. As you can tell, it decent at even getting a close up shot when necessary!

Above is a photograph of the closest you can be {250mm}. You can seriously see the dust particle on the lens itself. I used a tripod for this shot because, I personally do not have a steady hand which effects the shutter speed.

This is one of the few times I've attempted to photograph the ocean! I mean, trust me, I am no Clark Little! This is on landscape setting zoomed in 250mm!
{Not to get off the subject or anything, but...}

That one time I met Clark Little!

Well guys, I hope I entertained you with my A.D.D Blog!
Yours Truly,
Miss Rose
