Windmill Farms

Dear Anonymous,
Windmill Farms, located just off the freeway could be described as a safe haven for those whom need a little vaction away from today's frustration and stressful environment. I had never heard of this place until this past Saturday. Arriving there, we first bonded with the sweetest farm animals. Pigs, goats, chickens, turkeys, a donkey, and finally the feisty little pony. This place is the perfect opproutunity to take some amazing photos. I never wanted to leave! once you visit, you'll understand why. Here's a little preview of our amazing getaway.

Thank You SO Much!

For photos like this one, you cannot rely on your auto focus, so on your lens,
switch it over to Manual, then you can adjust the focus.

I fell completely in love with this beat up piano I found on the patio. I wanted
to take it home!!

Another shot of my love!

Model Status. HAHA No.

Dear Unknown,
Yes, I'm alive. Longtime no see. Bad News. My trusty laptop crashed last month and I lost everything. Everything. My laptop was repaired but my thousands of photos and writing were sadly gone. Oh well. New year, New Beginning, Right? I'm starting fresh. Good News. I had an awesome photo shoot with Aly! Timer, Tripod, Two young ladies, and you've got yourself a photo op. Some are edited and some aren't.

 Model Status.
 Oh look. A car.
 Oh, it coming fast.
 I'm out.
 Oh yeah, save the bench.
 The End.

Gotta Love All This Awkwardness.

Meeting Miss Zoey

Hey Outsider,
So here we are, you reading this, me drinking tea, writing this. The question is, what am I going to rant about today? Now unless you read my last entry, you have no idea what's coming. So, let me tell you. As you know, many of my clients don't pay me. Why?, you might ask. Probably because I'm only fourteen & I look naive, I'm not sure. But this I am sure of. Last month I was asked to do an infant session that I will be payed for! After she, (My sister's mother-in-law) saw my work, she agreed to sign my year contract!!! You have no idea how excited I still am. So every month, my sister/manager/assistant drives me to her house. But then I thought, I haven't held a newborn since my brother/model was born, which was almost six years ago. After coming to that conclusion, excitement turned into panic, stress, and yeah... I sorta freaked. Saturday came and I had knots in my stomach for three reasons. 1) I haven't handled a newborn baby in a long time. 2) My plan to use Manual was on my head all night. I have never really used manual before and didn't want to mess this up. & 3) What if they don't like the pictures! So we pull up to the house. I walk in nervous but have my eye out for good lighting. Then I meet my subject of the year, Miss Zoey Lynn. She is so tiny, and that sacred me even more. After she woke up I felt a lot more comfortable. She is only a month old, and not to active, which is good. Being a rookie in the infant photography business, is not fun. I didn't know where to start! I tried to keep my confidence but I couldn't. I now know that I need a schedule, a list, something to keep me going. Also, Pinterest is SO FAKE!! DO NOT COMPARE YOUR WORK TO THEIRS. Okay, so I know your dying to see those pictures, so here you go.

This was on the no flash setting because I was chicken in this lighting to use Manual.

This was my actual first photo taken with Manual!!! I know, I know, it's not spectacular, but to me it an accomplishment! I honestly am slightly proud that I did it. Lame right?

These two right here were completely unplanned. All of a sudden she just got really calm, so that where I come in.

Love this shot of her Mommy and her, while she sneezed!!

For these two shots I tried to focus on her wedding ring as well as them.

 Love this!!

Anyways, I would really appreciate your feedback on anything. Any requests, questions, ect.
Don't worry, you'll see a lot more of Baby Zoey next month.
Stay Tuned.
Yours Truly,
Miss Rose

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Dear Nameless,
Tell me, did you sing the title, better yet are you still singing it? I am. I must say, well played Cyndi Lauper, well played. So my baby cousins came into town on Friday and my uncle literally hands me this lens and so go have fun with the girls, so I suit up, ( I sound like Iron Man) ( I AM IRON MAN, DODODODO!!) sorry got carried away, grab the girls, and head for the park. before we leave the my uncle look at me and says, be careful... that lens is worth a thousand dollars.....Shut The Front Door! So all day I hold this precious piece of metal as if it were my offspring. No joke... This lens is amazing!! It's called Fish Eye Lens, which basically means its a mini professional panorama. You'll notice the minor bend in the photos below, so how do they look?

INTRODUCING THE BEAUTIFUL...(drum roll please!)
Madison and Savannah
I Call This One Ninja Madison

See any resemblance?

 This young woman is Savannah.
She is eleven years old and is taller than me. I feel so, short.
 There's always that one sister...
One awesome addition with this lens is that you can take an old fashion USie!
So yes that's me with the bad eye sight, the less photogenic one, the nerd, I could go on.
 Girls just wanna have fun!
 Because I'm Happppyyy

HOPE ALL Y'ALL GIRLS ARE HAVING FUN!
Yours Truly,
Miss Rose
