Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Dear Nameless,
Tell me, did you sing the title, better yet are you still singing it? I am. I must say, well played Cyndi Lauper, well played. So my baby cousins came into town on Friday and my uncle literally hands me this lens and so go have fun with the girls, so I suit up, ( I sound like Iron Man) ( I AM IRON MAN, DODODODO!!) sorry got carried away, grab the girls, and head for the park. before we leave the my uncle look at me and says, be careful... that lens is worth a thousand dollars.....Shut The Front Door! So all day I hold this precious piece of metal as if it were my offspring. No joke... This lens is amazing!! It's called Fish Eye Lens, which basically means its a mini professional panorama. You'll notice the minor bend in the photos below, so how do they look?

INTRODUCING THE BEAUTIFUL...(drum roll please!)
Madison and Savannah
I Call This One Ninja Madison

See any resemblance?

 This young woman is Savannah.
She is eleven years old and is taller than me. I feel so, short.
 There's always that one sister...
One awesome addition with this lens is that you can take an old fashion USie!
So yes that's me with the bad eye sight, the less photogenic one, the nerd, I could go on.
 Girls just wanna have fun!
 Because I'm Happppyyy

HOPE ALL Y'ALL GIRLS ARE HAVING FUN!
Yours Truly,
Miss Rose

More Challenges

Dear Shadows,
Lately it has been chaotic!! My grandparents came to visit for a week, so i had the privilege of sharing a room with my little brother and mother! Fun time... anyways all is normal again. So here's the latest dose of the October Challenge, days 12-17-

Days 12- A Sunset. My Favorite Free Activity! (Besides the Ocean of course) The Sunset is one of the most beautiful creations. Words fail to describe the majestic colors and vibrancy.

Day 13-Me and 13 Things. I literally couldn't think of thirteen things I have, so I chose my life span. Yes, I am only Thirteen for five more weeks. So Lame!! Embrace the Blurry.

Day 14-Eyes. Eyes are the window to the soul. What does that even mean!? Anyways this is River, my friends mini Husky. Isn't she just adorable!? No Editing done at all! None needed with this beauty.

Day 15- Silhouette. I had a hard time with this one. Here it is. My Sorta Silhouette? on that day there was an overcast weather and so no sunset= no silhouette. (tear)

Day 16- LLLOOONNNGGG Exposure. You probably are asking what does that look like. Well it looks like this.
Yeah... This was a beautiful accident. My attempt to capture the milky way. Instead I blinded everyone around me! OOPS...

Day 17- Technology. Call me old-fashioned, but this is technology to me. This is the inside of a music box or snow globe. This piece of rusty metal makes the most precious sound. Underneath all of the showy display there is beauty. Beauty that is indescribable, timeless, and unbeatable. No other music box has the same rust marks as this one. This one is unique, just like you, there is no other. Like this photo beneath.
Well, until next time when I'm late.
See Y'all 'Round

You Might Wanna See This

Dear you,
Day 10- A Childhood Memory. Ahh memory lane. No, no, no. NO. Absolutely not. No, Don't even think about it. Grr. Here it is. What you've all been waiting for since day one.
Yup. enjoy this while it last. Yeah, laugh it up. Well... on the bright side, I got better glasses. Unfortunately the rest of me is exactly the same.

Anyways, let us just forget what you just saw... Hi, you still here or did younger me scare ya'll off?

Day 11- Something Blue.
I Love The Beach Period. About a year ago I hated that filthy place with a passion. The sand is everywhere, it gets in your hair, your underwear, your car, & the ocean scared me to death. Last year, Alyssum dragged me kicking a screaming down into the ocean. She and her dad taught me to surf. Me, the beach hater, Surf, in the water. Now I could live on the beach forever. I love to surf down in Shell Beach!
Anyways, with this picture, I could have done so much with it. I could have totally deleted these people out of there, or made the ocean more blue. Or what about that wet suit hanging to dry, I could have taken that out along with the tennis shoes. But I left them, why? It gives it character. This defines Shell Beach and all it's imperfections. This shows the people of Shell, enjoying the day. My point (yes I always have a point)- Leave the flaws. They aren't flaws, think of them as extras on a set. When you see a play, you don't just see two actors in a draw without the tumbleweed, right? Let the surroundings tell the story, not the editing.

Any who, I'd like to share an old video of  my beginning photography. It might come up blurry but you get the point. All of these pictures were taken with an Ipod or an Iphone. So here it is. Come on hit the little sideways triangle. Go on press it.

Photos Taken In 2013
Well, at least you got a laugh out of this, right?
See Ya'll Later!

Miss Rose

Slightly Overwhelmed

Dear Person,
I have been completely swamped. Well first of all, I wrote this and then it was deleted, So here we are again.

Day 6- A Low Angle. This is my carport roof. Bet you didn't see that one coming. Angles, so unpredictable!

Day 7- Fruit. Yes this is fake fruit, and yes they are dusty.

Day 8- A Bad Habit. Mine, dancing around the house. That is all that needs to be said...

Day 9- Someone You Love. This is Alyssum. you might recognize her as one of my gorgeous models. She is a once in a lifetime kinda friend. If I say the words, "Photo Shoot," she is instantly in model mood. Luv Ya Girly, Never Change Aly!

That's all folks.
You can leave now.

Miss Rose

Simplicity and Contentment

Dear Strange Person,
I know that we all don't have the best circumstances! Maybe you don't live in a photogenic neighborhood, or maybe no one in your family will model for you. It happens! But you can make it work! For instance, my little five year old brother only models for me, if I bribe him with candy, ice cream, or Netflix.. Also, I mostly use our neighborhood as a backdrop. I can't always go everywhere I want too. Let me show you what I could do with my circumstances. Take a look below and tell me...  where am I?
1)
 2)
 3)
4)
Answers: 1- My bathroom mirror 2- Right by our trash cans 3- In the middle of a street 4- The rusty pipes on the side of our house.

See! I am rarely ever going to the beach, park, or anywhere else! Another thing that is worth repeating, don't be frustrated because you don't have a fancy camera. Simplicity is worth more than complexity. My point, wouldn't you just want to have fun rather then being confused with all the settings? Prove to yourself and everybody else that you can do it, with or without a nice camera! I'd rather live a simple life, then a hard, demanding life. I would much rather be content with what I've got, then always saying, " I want this, and I want that." Be thankful for what you've got! Only you can make yourself happy!

Yours Truly,
Miss Rose

Oops, I'm behind!

Hey Stranger,
Long time no... read? Day 2- What I wore. So this is what I came up with. Yup, that's me. Tripod, and TV setting was used. I did this quickly because this was taken around 7 A.M. so I wasn't feeling the whole face thing. I hope you had an awesome day!
Day 3- Clouds. At least in Oceano, there are no clouds, only blue skies. So this picture was taken last week. You may remember one similar, only this one was taken before the sunset. Clouds are just so... fluffy, yeah fluffy is the word I was looking for.

Day 4- Something Green. Well... funny story, I went to the zoo, and they had no frogs. (tear)
That's okay, I don't even like frogs, but they are green, and I needed green. So I improvised, (something all photographer must learn to do.) Yes This Is A Spider Monkey! (With Green Leaves In The Back.)

Day 5- A high angle. Again, one of my old shoots, but is still timeless. This day was really fun, I pretty much told her, do your thing and I'll be there, taking pictures of you, it's not weird, it totally normal. This is the natural outcome. It's sorta kinda from a high angle, sorta.

Well Guys Sorry I'm Lame. I Can Never Keep Up With These Challenges. #neveragain #whyamihashtaggingthings

October Photography Challenge!

Hey stranger,
This month I am doing a Photography challenge on Instagram and I will also be posting daily my daily post I guess you could say. All of my photos on my account were taken with my Canon Rebel xsi,2010 model. If you have an Instagram please go head and follow my photography account- @miss_rose_photos. Anyways, today is a self portrait and yeah here it goes.  Welcome October, can't wait for November already. Here is my self portrait below. After that is my calendar, follow me if you'd like!  I hope ya'll follow my lead and put you skills to the test!

This is simply taken with a tripod on multiple shots, and timer of ten seconds. This is the inside of my front door for a backdrop. The lighting is mostly all natural sunlight, with a little editing. I have been working with the setting TV and I had the settings on 1/125 which is not what I usually put it on, I mostly have it on 1/50 for better exposure. My ISO is at 800. ISO, if your wondering what that means, is the sensitivity to light. The higher your number is, makes it more sensitive to light and visa versa. These number very between 100-1600. I know at first
all my jumbles of letters seem confusing, but just try it for yourself. I honesty taught my self everything I know with some help from google. You Can Do IT! More tomorrow!
Yours Truly,
Miss Rose
